Updated Checklist

Here’s our checklist of the things we need to buy for baby. I got this from Baby and Company:

BEFORE BABY ARRIVES

What we have so far:

1 Crib, 1 Bassinet, 1 Changing Table, Crib Mobilex

(paul bought 1 na when he was in the US)

1 Mosquito Net

(c/o my sis-in-law, both yung pang crib tsaka kahit wala sa crib)

1 Cabinet / Chest with Drawers

(yung crib ni baby may maliit na organizer sa side, tapos I bought one na pwedeng i-hang sa crib din, next time na lang cabinet)

1 Comforter, 1 Pillow and 2 Bolsters

(bought 1 set muna, baka may magregalo sa binyag, hehehe!)

2 Diaper Pails (

for soiled diapers, at kung ano ano pa)

1 Thermometer

(paul bought an ear thermometer)

1 Baby Monitor

(c/o my sis-in-law, di nila nagamit yung kanila)

What we don’t have yet:

1 Lamp

(meron kasama yung crib but I don’t know if it’s enough)

4 Waterproof Sheets

(don’t know if we need this nga and where and how to use it)

3 Crib Blankets

2 Crib Bumpers

(saw one sa SM, papabili ko na lang sa kapatid ko. Hehehe!)

4 Pillow Cases and 6 Bolster Cases

Crib Toys, Musical Toys, Educational Toys

(I can request for these sa binyag hehe!)

(need to buy next time I shop)

AFTER THE BABY ARRIVES APPAREL

What we have so far:

12 Sleeveless Shirts

(c/o Rachel, di ako sure kung 12 nga iyon hehehe!)

12 Short Sleeves Shirts

(c/o Rachel, di din ako sure sa quantity hehe!)

Waterproof /plastic panties

(1 lang. ninang dette bought it sa US kaso yun lang stock kaya 1 lang, will buy na lang ulit)

12 Mittens

(bought last weekend, enough na kaya yung 12?)

6 Socks

(bought din last weekend, enough na ba ang 6?)

4 Burp Pads

(c/o ninang dette)

2 Receiving Blankets

(bought din last weekend)

2 dozen cloth diapers

(paul bought sa US yung gerber, folded and prefolded na birds eye, ok daw kung gagamitin pagwiwi si baby)

2 dozen cloth diapers

(yung gauze naman)

1 dozen disposable diapers for new born

(bought din last weekend yung ProKids)

4 pairs Diaper Clip
(bought sa sta lucia kung sakaling mag cloth diapers si baby)

What we don’t have yet:

(kelangan ba to?)

(di daw kami gagamit nito)

4 bonnets/caps

(not sure also if we need this since hooded receiving blanket ni baby)

NURSING AND FEEDING

(bought sa sta. lucia, yung pre-cut na)

(bought din sa sta lucia)

Nasal Aspirator
(bought safety first, may kasamang medicine dropper)

4 Wash cloths / mitts

(meron daw ok na quality sa sm, I’ll check next time I go there)

2 Organizer Tray

(din a muna to kasi meron naman ako nabili organizer tsaka meron din sa crib ni baby)

1 Mosquito Repellant

(din a muna kasi meron naman mosquito net)

What we don’t have yet:

1 Baby Oil

1 Baby Alcohol

1 Baby Lotion

1 Baby Cologne

1 Petroleum Jelly
